In the essay, the series of reactions has been discussed to study the synthetic route of the ramification of the cyclovirobuxinum-D. With the cyclovirobuxinum-D as the starting material, the
reactions include the following steps: the protection of the hydroxyl and amine of the cyclovirobuxinum-D by the benzaldehyde; the protection of the amine of the glycine by the anhydride; the acylate dehydration of DCC; the production of acyl chloride using N-BOC-glycine and thionyl chloride; the acylation of the dehydrochlorination of acyl chloride and secondary amine; and last, the butoxycarbonylation. Also, each compound is identified and reperesented by the data of the mass spectrum and melting point apparatus.
