Project Responsibilities: Designing the casting process and Pro/E three-dimensional mold; Magma simulation; making three-dimensional mold processing map and two-dimensional assembly processing map; fixing the casting materials; composing the process documents and inspection documents on the spot; directing the casting inspection and coordinating and tracking the inspection progress; PPAP submission; on-site training and other matters.

Project Achievements: saved the product’s trial time by changing the process from 3D to 2D and adopting Magma simulation; completed the sample production whitin three months; submitted full-sized reports with three-dimensional co-ordinates in the whole course; completed the inspection of nodularity 100%; completed the casting PPAP submission in the fifth month; under the same conditions, submitted the sample more than one month in advance compared with the Australian PBR plant, while the product’s quality was better, so that we successfully became a major supplier of PBR.

Project Description: PBR auto bracket was a new product developed by PBR for a new kind of Malaysian car. Australian PBR and our factory received the development task at the same time. We had to complete a small batch production before the end of the year, which was to make ready for the vehicle assembly.
