3 months, Yes, I am funded by a Canadian Global Intern Program and China Scholarship Council.

Just want to confirm that are we talking about the work permit or a temporary visitor visa? I double checked the IRPR, you will need a work permit to work legally in Canada, even it's only 3 months.

On CIC website, the current processing time for a work permit in Beijing and Hong Kong is 4 months, and in Shanghai is 3 months.
