论文中常出现that is, it...;it...; 用于描述一个东西的各项属性、作用等。如何分析其语法、句子结构？

例如，CSAPP中 82页在描述Abelian group的时候如是写道：
That is, it is commutative (that's where the "abelian" part comes in) and associative; it has an identity element 0, and every element has an additive inverse.

像 that is, 这种直接视为独立成分即可，和句子其他成分没有语法逻辑上的关系。

选A 理由如下：（语法上分析）it 在句中是形式主语，代指what the problem itself is.。what充当连词，引导主语从句，在从句中当作宾语。（句意上分析）首先要知道这个问题本身是“什么”，才能确定能不能解决。所以选what。排除法：句子不是定语从句，C排除：句子不是强调句，排除B D与句意不符。
