Why Do I Learn English

It is widely acknowledged that English is an international language. There are many reasons for us to learn English. First, if we can have a good understanding of English, we will have more chances to achieve the latest information about science, art and culture. Second, when foreigners come to China, we can make them have a totally new impression of our country through English. What’s more, when we travel abroad, we don’t need to worry about how to communicate with others if we can speak English. So we should spare no effort to learn English.
The Book I Like Most

The book I enjoy reading most is Wizard of Oz. This book tells us a story of how a little girl Dorothy goes back to her hometown when she is in another strange city. From this story, we can see Dorothy is a brave and kind-hearted girl. She killed the two bad witches in Oz; she helped the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion to get what they want. We also learn that teamwork is important for us. when our friends need help, we should go and help them. Just remember, more people, more power. It’s always better has more people to do a thing. To me, this is a book worth reading.
