My Spring Festival was great. 我的春节棒极了 Before the Chinese New Year, my families were all going to my grandparents’. 在新年前，我们一家都到了爷爷奶奶家 Many of my relatives there were playing all the night. 许多亲戚都在这儿玩了通宵 At night, we set off firecrackers. As we all know, during the whole winter vacation, the most important thing is the Spring Festival. Spring Festival is very special in Chinese history. It’s one of the Chinese traditional festivals. So of course, Chinese observe it every year. This year is the year of ox. My family put up some posters of golden ox. According to the Chinese custom, we also decorated our room with some red couplets and so on. The Spring Festival is full of money to me, the only child in this family. I received a lot of red packets from the aged, my parents and even relatives. I think after my childhood, I’ll become a millionaire! The Spring Festival is very busy to my parents. They have to plan many things like: on what date, we visit whom, go where… As far as I’m concernd, even though that’s very tired after a day’s visit, go on a short journey is a good choice if you have no plan of going traveling. At the night before the first day of the first lunar month, my family got together, sat around the dinning table and watched the Spring Festival Gala on CCTV1. It was really interesting and funny. It brought o lot of happiness to all the Chinese. What a wonderful night! No doubt, the Spring Festival is so special that I can’t wait for the next Spring Festival to come! Hurry, time!!!
