I do not think Wechat is going to affectthe life of a student. First of all, we need to think carefully what is thefunction of Wechat.

As a communication software, Wechat can useinternet connection to perform a voice message and SMS function. These functionis provided by all the mobile phone already, with or without Wechat. The onlyadvantage of Wechat is, it can save money. However, if a student can have amobile phone which can use Wechat, I believer this money saving is not soimportant to them.

This is the reason that I do not thinkWechat is going to affect the life of a student, because what could affect astudent’s life is not Wechat itself, but the function of mobile phone.
