我不知你这个ABCD所标注的是哪些词,因此我不用指出ABCD中是哪一项错了,而是直接指出句中的错误并改正.

1.very→too
(考点:too+adj.+to do sth. 太...以至于不能做某事)

2.to think→thinking
(考点: can't help doing sth. 禁不住做某事)

3.five-speeds→five-speed
(数词+名词,用连字符连起来做复合形容词时,其中的名词必须用单数.故five-speeds改为five-speed.)

4.By reading →If you had read
(由could have been avoided可知,这是对过去情况的虚拟,因此前面应用一个完整的虚拟条件句,且谓动必须用过去完成时)

5.the best one→the better one
(句中只有两堂课(the two lectures)进行比较,因此应该用比较级,故将 the best one 改为the better one.)

6. must→should/ 或: 去掉must
(propose等表示"建议"的动词,其后的宾从要用虚拟语气,其构成是:should+动词原形,且should可省略不要. 因此将must改为should 或: 去掉must .)

7.第一个That→What
(What引导主语从句,并在主从中充当主语;而that虽能引导主语从句,但在从句中不充当任何成份.而此句的主从中缺少主语,故将That改成What)

8.get→have got
考点: ought to have done sth. "本来应该做某事而实际上没有做".
表示说话人对未做某事感到后悔.

9. telling→to tell
此题考查这两个短语的区别:
go on doing sth.: "继续做某事",指前后做的是同一件事.
go on to do sth.: 接着做另一件事.
此题中,criticizing our proposal in every detail和telling us ...是两件不同的事,做完一件事,接着做另一件事,应该用go on to do sth.;因此应该用:went on to tell.

10.去掉not
(barely本身就含有否定意思,"几乎不",因此not多余了)

11.to go→going
(feel like doing sth.想要做某事)

12.until→before
(主句为肯定句时,用before;主句为否定句时,用until)

13.red–hair→ red–haired(adj. 红头发的)
