(Choi Jin-Cheul)
朴 毅 龙 = 박 의 용 (Pak I Yong) 哲 = 철 (Cheol) The correct 罗马拼音 is cheol
not chuel or chul. Sometimes people write their English name different from the correct
they write Park. Whether they put it Pak or Park
it does not change the correct pronounciation of 박 which is [pak]. 2008-07-12 16:57:13 补充: Therefore the correct pronounciation of 哲/철 is [cheol] and it should be pronounced as [cheol] even though it is spelt as Chuel or Chul.
l know. As l said before
some Kore spell their name 哲 as Chul and Cheul but the correct spelling is Cheol /철 in Korea. The situation is like surname 蔡 (in HK) can be written as Choi or Tsoi. Both are used. There are lots of these example - correct spelling inside (): 장동건 / 张东健 = Jang Dong Gun (Geon) 이병헌 / 李秉宪 = Lee (I) Byung (Byeong) Hun (Heon) 이영애 / 李英爱 = Lee (I) Young (Yeong) Ae
