　　 The Difference between Chinese and Western Culture
　　First of all, the most obious diffenence with the Chinese people, they pay much more attention on their supper. The western people often leave office earlier than us, therefore, they have more time to spend on Prepari-ng and cooking for their dinner. At the same time, the western people us-uallly ignore their breakfast. Sandwich and bread is the most popular for it. However, we Chinese think good breakfast will help to make a good beginning of one day.
　　Secondly, western and Chineses culture in the regard to children is at polar opposites. The western parents speak proudly of their childuen's accomplishments. Not so Chinese parents, whose children, even if at the top of their class in school, are always so “naughty,” never studying, never listening to their elders, and so forth.
　　The last and also the most distinctive difference betwenn western culture is the Chineses take pride in “modesty”； the western people in“sraight forwardness”. That modesty has left many a Chinese hungry at the western table, for Chinese politeness calls for three refusals before one accepts an offer, and the western hosts take a “no” to mean “no”,whether it's the first, second, or third time.
