Everyone has his or her favorite persons. These favorite persons are like their mentors and best friends, always teach them what are right and what are wrong. A favorite person can provide guidance and set good examples for many people.
Here, I want to talk about my favorite person. My favorite person is my father. My father is a doctor. He works in the Center Hospital of the city. Usually he is very busy because there are always many patients need help, so he always stays late at work. He always likes helping other people, whether inside or outside the hospital. So, just like him, I also learned to enjoy helping other people. He always tells me that when you help other people, you are helping the society, because the people who received help will help other people. If everyone helps everyone, this society will be a much better society.
In his spare time, my father likes reading newspapers and he reads it every night. He also likes reading books. He has many books and many of them are medical books. He showed me that you can gain a lot of knowledge by reading, and he taught me reading when I was very little. From these books, I learned many things.
So, now you understand why my father is my best favorite person. Because he is a good teacher: he let me understand the good of helping people, and he taught me the importance of reading. He is also my best friend because we talk about everything.

我最爱的人－母亲(My favorite love person-my mother)
My mother is a virtuous wife and good mother. She has medium height .and beautiful face. She is a generous, good natured and warm-hearted woman. She looks like actor Wang Tang Feng.
My mother has retired now. She lives on pension/social welfare and lives with us. She is good at cooking, often treat us lavish dinner, consisting of different dishes form various provinces. I like eat my mother dishes very much.
She likes watch TV. My mother and I like to visit relatives together. Sometimes we go shopping together.
When I have trouble that she always encourage me to do our best, she used to say “It don’t matter if you win or not. The important thing is to do your best and keep going”.
East, West, Home is the best. I wish my mother has a happy life every day. I love my mother. It is a Chinese tradition to respect the children and support the elderly.
