四六级口语考试每年两次，分别在5月和11月；2019年四六级口语考试时间为：四级口语考试时间为5月25日；六级口语考试时间为5月26日；2020年上半年口语考试因疫情原因取消。

为落实国家关于新冠肺炎疫情防控工作部署及教育部相关通知要求，切实保障考生、考试工作人员的身体健康和生命安全，经教育部研究决定，2020年5月23至24日的全国大学英语四六级口语考试（CET-SET）取消，考试时间将视情况另行通知。

CET-SET 考试分三部分：

第一部分是考生和 CET 授权的主考进行交谈，采用问答的形式。时间约 5 分钟。

第二部分包括 1.5 分钟的考生个人发言和 4.5 分钟的小组讨论。时间共约 10 分钟。

第三部分由主考再次提问以进一步确定考生的口头交际能力。时间约 5 分钟。

由于改革，有些省份实施机考形式。两个考生为一组参加。

第一部分为简单的自我介绍和问题回答，其中自我介绍20秒，问题回答为90秒。

第二部分为topic，及与你的partner进行有关此给出话题的讨论，时间为4分30秒。

第三部分为总结式回答，包括两个问题，其中一个与你的partner相同，另一个不同。时间均为90秒。

英语四级口语考试时间

2015年上半年英语四级口试时间：5月23日—24日，下半年口试时间为11月21日—22日。

报名资格：2005年6月及以后的CET纸笔或CET网考四级的成绩为500分以上(含500分)，或六级成绩为425分以上(含425分)。

　　CET-SET主要考核学生英语口头表达能力，其中包括：就一般性话题进行比较流利的会话能力;表达个人意见、情感、观点等的能力;陈述事实、理由和描述事件的能力。评分依据以下标准：

　　2.语言范围： 指考生使用的词汇和语法结构的复杂程度和范围;

　　3.话语的长短：指考生对整个考试中的交际所作的贡献、讲话的多少;

　　4.连贯性：指考生有能力进行较长时间的、语言连贯的发言;

　　5.灵活性：指考生应付不同情景和话题的能力;

　　6.适切性：指考生根据不同场合选用适当确切的语言的能力。
