1. 从石器时代到现代科技，贯穿整个人类社会的工业是一个逐渐发展的过程。

2. 答案是A, a good many后面可直接加复数。a great deal只能修饰不可数名词。

3. 答案是A

   a knowledge of ...某方面的知识，固定用法。

   international trade国际贸易，固定习语。

4. 答案是A。因为宾语从句的谓语是is, 是单数，所以light不能加s; 

   the street light 的意思是：街灯。street 作light的定语。这是名词作定语。

5. 答案是A。sands指沙滩，建的是沙做的城堡。同样是名词作定语。

6. 答案是C。一样是名词作定语。

7. 区别在于make sense 是不及物的，译为“讲得通，有道理”
   而make sense of是及物的，译为“弄懂，理解”

   肯定：It makes sense. 

   否定：It doesn't make any sense.

不好意思，第4题确实是B，我在解析里面也讲的是B，只是手抖写错了。
第二题，a good many/a great many都是直接加复数的，不用of

如果用of，则后面的名词前必须有修饰词，如：
a good many books
a good many of these books
名词前有修饰词，比如these，才能加of
