The spring Festival, which is the greatest traditional festival in china lasts for five days for people to have a thorough rest when all the people can go away from work. In my opinion, parents and children have different attitude towards the spring Festival.
Although the purpose is for rest or relaxation, many people including my parents always complain that there are so many vexed things to busy with that they find it difficult to have a good rest. My mother even dares the coming of the spring festival. She has to get ready for the food of the whole family ahead of time that costs her a lot of energy and time. The largest work for her is cooking them for New Year's Eve meal. During the five days we usually visit relatives and friends, some of whom live a long distance from my hometown. As a result, we have to bear the exhausted journey back and forth. After the five days, my parents are always quite tired and they have to return to work with the frazzled body. My mother always swear that she really wants to change the way for celebrating the spring festival, although she knows she will definitely have the same or at least similar experience on the next spring festival.
Children, on the contrary, always expect the spring festival. They can have a good time. They are just busy with playing. The most attraction of the spring Festival for the children may be the pocket money from their parents and many relatives with which they can buy what they like. They will have a crazy spring festival. They don't have to get up early facing too much homework, nervous study, which they can forget just for some days.
Spring festival should bring all the people happy feeling. So children should share the vexed housework with their parents in order that parents can also have a good rest. They can have enough energy and sanguine mood for the work of the New Year.
