I lived in a British's house, where I could know the normal British life easily.

I studied several subjects, including English Writing, British Literature, British History, and

so forth. I visited many cities in Britain, the local libraries and museums. It was the way that

I experiecced how Britain culture penetrated the whole country. The journey was impressing. I

met a lot of people who behaved differently as the ones I had seen before. For instance, the

British males were gentle and graceful. To be frankly, the weather there was quite changeable

which worried me a lot. It was so embarrassing if I went out without an umbrella. How fun the

weather was! The experience tought me a lot about the normal British life. The differences

between China and Britain are raised due to different culture background which inherited by

generation and generation. I appreciate the chance as an exchange student to Britain and

wish to visit there again.

I am glad to have the chance to sh are with you my experience in Britain for about 10 months as an exchange student. While in Britain, I stayed with a British family and got to learn about the life of common people there. I took a lot of courses, including Engli sh writing, English literature, and the history of Britain, etc. During my stay, I went to some pubs with my friends to listen to music or watch football maches. In this way, I experienced part of British culture. Besides, I visited many libraries and museums and also I traveled to several British cities.
This is really an enjoyable and unf orgettable experience, which helped me in many ways. First, I learned to be independent and make some decisions by myself. Second, I got to know more about the differences between Britain and China. Last but not least, I made a lot of friends there and had my English improved, which has enriched my life greatly.
