With the increasing development of the business, the use of server is increased rapidly. Therefore, the control of energy consumption of the servers is facing many problems:

 

1. It is difficult to know and reveal the energy consumption situation of the servers. There is lack of management tools fo the power consumption and distribution. 

2. There is no evaluation tool for the potential risks on the safty use of power. If a failure happened, there is no quick and sufficient method for diagnosing and handling.

3. Lacking of monitoring means for the energy consumption of the cabinets/frames. This leads to the unbanlanced use of the power. Some frames even consumed too much power as it should. It is a waste.
