有的人看似好心地把动物当成自己的宠物，可是，他们只管照顾宠物们的吃喝拉撒，并不给它们自由。人们把宠物当做自己的娱乐工具，从来不会去顾及它们的感受。
其实，很多宠物能给家庭带去欢乐，像狗、猫。很多父母养宠物的原因是他们觉得这样能让孩子学习到如何去关怀他人，他们认为这是一个很好的方法去教导孩子如何成为一个好人。对于那些单身人士，宠物是一个很好的朋友，特别是对一些内向的人来说，他们宁愿和一只天真无邪的小动物聊天，也不愿意和那些带着面具的人类聊天。宠物就像我们的伴侣，陪伴着我们。
我觉得，我们应该善待动物，把它们当做自己的朋友，当成自己的孩子、家人。而不是把它们当做低等的生物去随意虐待。动物是上帝创造出的与人类一起欢乐的生物，而不是人类玩乐的工具，人们应该善待动物而不是虐待动物。
