①They hoped that governments would act quickly in order to conserve nature / earth. 不是两个词都可以吗？为什么答案选nature呢？
②They build bridges across / over rivers in forests. 不是两个词都可以吗？为什么答案选acorss呢？
③Having his work not finished, he was not allowed to leave. 和 Not having finished his work, he was not allowed to leave. 和 Not having his work finished, he was not allowed to leave. 这三句话哪句才对？有什么语法知识吗？

1 如果是the earth或者是Earth,就对了。
2 a bridge across the river是正确的表达，因为桥墩在河的两岸。如果是a bridge over the river，桥的立足点在哪里？over解释为“在河的上空”，可能吗？
3 Not having finished his work, he was not allowed to leave.-------这是对的，正确的表达。 Not having finished his work是分词结构，做句子的原因状语。== As he hadn't finished his work。

Having his work unfinished== Not having his work finished------的意思是，he来监督others做his work，不解释为"他亲自do / finish his work”.-------所以逻辑上不正确，尽管语法可能是对的。

2.across 横穿，横跨的意思
3.非谓语V-ing做原因状语
非谓语的否定只需在前面加上Not.

2.答案应该是over吧

题1的conserve 是保全的意思 要保持大自然的完整 这句话是这个意思

题2的across和over的用法是有区别的，across和over两者可以表示‘在’隆起的障碍的‘那边’（比如：树笆，栅栏，墙，群山），但是只用over表示‘到’隆起的障碍的‘那边’的移动的过程。可是，要表达‘从一端到另一端’，只用across ，在一个立体的空间用across不用over
