The paper, from the perspective of educational ecology, used a questionnaire to survey the current situation of ecological environment of college English classroom. The results analyzed by means of SAS indicate that the classroom physical environment is better than both the value environment and social environment and the latter is the worst. Therefore, in order to improve the ecological environment and raise the efficiency of foreign language teaching, the paper puts forward the following strategies: reducing noise pollution, beautifying English classrooms, making full use of resources, optimizing ecological positions, limiting class size, balancing sex ratio, enriching second classrooms, deemphasizing CET-4 and CET-6, reforming teaching methods, varying teaching means, harmonizing teacher-student relationship and providing multiple selective courses.
