1. made是make的过去式 所以made = did make, 如果用did make语法上是正确的·但是这种写法就是强调句式了
2. elder和别的所有形容词一样 都可以用在这里· 譬如the apple is the biggest 表示这个苹果是最大的

3. 因为句子里面有两个and 如果在as much as we can 后面加一个句号的话能够让句子更好因为更加容易看懂·不过不加的话也算不上语法错误
