今年三月份，我公司的发往南方一批空调出现了一些质量问题，因此我部门临时决定对这批空调进行召回，换新，然后召开紧急新闻发布会，对此事件进行解释，反思，给我公司的客户一个满意的答案。

1. 发往南方的一批空调，如果直接译为...delivered to the south of
   China，所表达的含义不是很清楚，也不太符合英语习惯。这里想表达的意思我的理解是给南方的客户发货，因此，这里的英语翻译中可加以说明。
   即：...delivered to a client/a buyer in the southern part of China.
   

2. 反思，我的理解是道歉。反思是自身行为，在新闻发布会上是不会反思的，而是发布向媒体公布反思的结果，比如说“经过深刻反思后诚挚道歉”之类的片汤话。

3. 给我公司的客户一个满意的答案，我的理解这一句和前面的“对此事件进行解释、反思”表达的是相同的意思，因此可理解为做出的解释和反思令客户满意。

In March this year, our company delivered an order of air conditioners to a client in the southern market of China. The delivered items experienced later a couple of quality problems. As a result, we decided to recall and replace the problem-plagued products.
Afterwards, a press conference was held urgently for the purpose of
making apology and clarifications on the whole incident in a manner
satisfactory to our client.

So our department decided on calling back those air-conditioners, and arranged an emergency press conference for explanations, reflections, and a satisfying solution for our clients.
