I’m so glad to receive your letter which mentioned that you were planning to improve your English. You asked me for some useful suggestions about how to learn English well, so a few advices that are quite effective for me are listed below.

Firstly, persistence is very important. If you want to acquire English skills as many as you can, stick to learning it every day is a very good way. Just like the famous saying goes, “Constant drops ware away stone.” (水滴石穿) Memorize a few English expressions or vocabularies each day, then you will make a great improvement after you keep doing it for a year.

Secondly, never forget to use what you’ve learned. Learning English is about to use it as a tool to communicate with people from other countries.
