struts2中s:checkboxlist的取值问题

我在代码中定义了下面的内容
<s:action name="rolesSelect" namespace="/" id="roleBean"></s:action>
<s:checkboxlist list="#roleBean.rList" name="roleList" listKey="id"
listValue="name" label="请选择角色" labelposition="top">
</s:checkboxlist>
xml中
<action name="rolesSelect" class="com.wotingxinwen.bg.action.RolesSelectAction">
在RolesSelectAction里面定义了rList，并给他付了值，结果总是报错
