用什么方式方法是in the way，但是当way后面跟定语从句的时候为什么却没有in呢？？

比如

She could not hide her amusement at the way he was dancing
He was filled with anger at the way he had been treated.
You love her just the way she is
上面这些话都是在电影和词典上看到的，way后面因该是定语从句吧，可是为什么没有in，如果说“他这样跳舞”，应该是he was dancing in that way，还有“她是那样的人”应该是she is in that way 但是为什么从句中都没有in呢？？
我指的是in，不是引导定语从句的that which ，that which能省略，in也能省略？？

• the way之后，引导定语从句的关系副词是that而不是how。that作关系副词，是一种特殊的用法。

  
  

• 在正式语体中，that可被in which所代替；在非正式语体中，that则往往省略。由此我们得到the way后接定语从句时的三种模式（三种表达都是正确的）：

1. the way+that从句  

2. the way+in which从句   

3. the way+从句

　　例1：你这么个干法，简直疯了。

　　The way that you’re doing it is completely crazy.

　　The way in which you’re doing it is completely crazy.

　　The way you’re doing it is completely crazy.

　　例2：我们佩服他面对困难的方式。

　　We admired him for the way that he faces difficulties.

　　We admired him for the way in which he faces difficulties.

　　We admired him for the way he faces difficulties.

• 另外，the way（that）有时可以与how（作“如何”解）通用。例如：
  

　　That’s the way （that)）she spoke.（定语从句） = That’s how she spoke.（表语从句）

1. 也是首选，就是不填，即省去关系词

2. 用that， that 这个用法很特别，因为是在从句中作状语， 等于in which

3. in which 这个最符合语法， 但不及上两种常用
