In crisis is cleverness born
It is true that crisis gives birth to creativity. In a crisis or an emergency, there is a potential for people to achieve for greater than would normally be expected. This potential or cleverness is developed because of the necessity to face the crisis and come up with the clever solution.
The story of the “hunters and a bear” illustrates this saying. Once upon a time there were two hunters who saw a bear came when they were in a mountain. One, a frightened coward, climbed up a tree and the other clever one quickly lay down and held his breath as if he were dead. The bear came close to the hunter on the ground, sniffed, and went away. The hunter explained he was frightened and in this crisis he lay down and pretended to be dead. In the emergency the hunter had come up with a clever idea to deal with the bear.
