in front of一般使用在表示方位

3. was 用在单数，是am和is的过去时
were用在复数，是are的过去时，were还用在虚拟语态当中

1．befor用于指时间上和空间上的顺序在前，不般不用于建筑物之前．
in front of指在某物某地之外的前面，多用于静态动词之后．如：
there is a car parked right in front ofour gate ,and
i can't get out .有车辆停在我们门前，我出不去．
2．call somebody, ring somebody, make a call to somebody, telephone somebody～～～～
3．was是am和is的过去时 ，主语是第三人或第三人称单数时用．
were用在主语是复数，是are的过去时，were还用在虚拟语态当中 ，如
