According to the pie chart, over-grazing, which is 35%, is the mainreason of land degradation, with deforestation coming next at 30%, followed byover-cultivation, making up 28%; and finally come others at 7%. Othersconstituted the smallest proportion. It should be noted that others is 4 timesas much as that of over-cultivation.
From the table, North America got the least influence from landdegradation at 5%, while the land in Europe got the most degraded (23%). InOceania, 11.3% land degraded by over-grazing, which was the highest among otherareas. In Europe, deforestation and over-cultivation at 9.8% and 7.7%respectively; its higher than North America and Oceania.
