i have more money than you do
my money is more than that of yours
the governmental officials are not the same as when you were in the States Dad.
电影狸的一句话,请问as后面是不是省略了they were?as能不能只跟一个they 把were省掉,像my money is more than that of yours一样?

1、①I have more money than you do
= I 【have】 more money than 【the money承接money而省略】you 【have为了避免与主语I后面的have重复,用代动词 do(did/does)代替】,you 后面用动词复数,时态与原句时态一致——一般现在时,所以是【do】.例如:
②Tom has more story books than Tim 【does】.
【My money】 is more than【 that=the money 】of yours
The weather in Beijing is colder than 【that】 in our area.
2、The governmental officials are not the same as【they were】 when you were in the States Dad.
是省略了【they were】!
They are not so healthy as they【were】.
