II. How to use用法：肯定句变否定句

第一类：含有is, am, are的句子，直接在is, am, are后面加 not,

主语 + be （am is are）+ not

（I am not= I’m not is not=isn’t are not=aren’t）

例如：I am Jack. ---- I am not Jack.—I’m not Jack.

She is a doctor. ---- She is not a doctor.

It is a sunny day. ---- It is not a sunny day.

第二类：含can 的情态动词的句子, 在can 后面直接加 not， can not= can’t。

例如：The bird can fly. ---The bird can not fly.

I can dance ____ I can not dance

第三类：含实意动词的句子变否定句，在do 或does 后面加not

主语 + do （does）not + 动词原形

例如： I get up at 7:00 every morning.

---- I don’t get up at 7:00 every morning.

Grandma often goes to the park in the morning.

---- Grandma doesn’t often go to the park in the morning.
