Dear Mrs Zhuang

I refer to your appeal for Zhuang Jun Jie’s admission to full-time Diploma in Management Studies (DMSNF) programme.

We process all applications according to what the applicants applied. According to our records, Mr Zhuang Jun Jie had applied for the Certificate in English Language (CEL) programme in July 2007. We had processed and made him an offer for admission to the CEL programme. A copy of his application form and offer letter for CEL programme is attached.

We received Zhuang Jun Jie’s application for admission to the DMSNF programme commencing Oct 08. We have carefully considered your appeal for Mr Zhuang’s admission to the DMSNF programme. Places in the DMSNF programme are in high demand and very competitive. Selection for admission to the programme is therefore, based on merits for all applicants, including applicants who have completed or will be completing CEL programme. In Mr Zhuang’s case, the Student Admission Committee had deliberated on his appeal and I regret that we are unable to offer him a place in the programme. I would like to assure you that your appeal has received thorough consideration.
