Last summer holiday, I went to Beijing for a trip with my parents. Beijing is the capital of our country, with many places of historical interest and scenic beauty. Even on the plane, I began to feel very excited and delighted because it was the first time for me to take a trip there. As soon as we arrived, we went directly to the Summer Palace. It was there that we climbed Longevity Hill and boated on Kunming Lake. How pleased we were to see the Royal Garden with ancient Chinese culture. Inthe evening, we went to the famous restaurant to eat the roast duck, which was really worthy of taste. The next day, we drove a long distance to the Great Wall for a visit. Standing on the wall, I couldn’t help thinking how ancient Chinese built this wall without modern machines! No doubt we had a good time there. Though we flew back soon after we visited some other parks and spots, I still think Beijing is worth visiting again.
