Depression Pain always hides behind the stories, either emotional or
physical.Linda was a Literature student who had turquoise hair, and her eyes
gave me a feeling of melacholy. Everytime she walked by, I saw that she plodded
wearily along the road languidly. A sense of loneliness and helplessness washed
overher and her sadness quickly turned into self-pity. There was a bright moon
in the pitch-black sky with a myraid of starsglittering, it seemed to be a
picturesque scene but described an incomplete storyin her mind. She stood on the
balcony and stared at the sky desperately whilethe atmosphere was thick with
depression. Linda whimpered, shivering all overwith cold , the night air chilled
her bones. The miserable memory would stayin the bottom of her heart, and she
would remember that unbearably painful scene vividly. It was a shiny day full of
freshness, and the sunshine illuminated the world and Linda's soul. She decided
to go out alone to relax, and her first choicewas to go to the garden which was
her favourite place. As she approached thefront door of the garden, a familiar
backview was moving in front of her. Besidethat, a child of about five years old
in a fashionable woman's arm who wasaccompanying that burly man. Suddenly , it
was like a thunderbolt from the clearsky and she had been preparing for that
moment to come because it was the truth that she could not avoid it. The hot
tears welled up in her eyes, excruciating painstabbed her in the back of her
heart as she knew she used to be that child as well. As a Literature student,
she had been reading thousands of books andshe used to imagine these scenes
before. Things just happened dramatically in front of her , however , she never
thought that would happen in her life. Both ofthem, Linda and her mother, were
unwilling to accept the truth. Initially, she waspleased to see her father
appear but they just walked past each other like strangers.A breaking sound was
heard, her heart had just broken into pieces badly and it wouldnever be cured
one day. Linda held her tears back and took a deep breath, trying notto let the
tears drop down and left the garden quietly. Upon thinking this, she felt very
stressed and hoped she would vanish fromthis ruthless world. Her tearstained
face was puffy and swollen with grief, and she smiledat the sky and tears fell
along her jawline. At the same time, the night sky was ablazewith flashes of
lightning.
