Everyone has their own favorite hobbies. I am not an exception. When I return home with a whole day’s study, I am tired and bored. Then I will do one favorite thing – jogging in the small park near my home. You may say that jogging is hardly a hobby. A hobby is something like drawing, skating, and writing Chinese calligraphy. But in China, a senior high school student doesn’t have much spare time developing his real hobby. So I run a little bit after school.
First of all, sitting all day long, I need to stretch my arms and legs. Jogging enables me to exercise my body so that I can learn with a better efficiency. Second, while jogging, I can stop to smell the flowers, to say hello to neighbors and to join other kids in the basketball games. I feel a sense of belonging in a community. Usually, after a late afternoon work-out, I can eat more and sleep better. And more importantly, I can think more sharply.
Dear friends, let’s get a hobby that will benefit us and give us health and happiness, no matter what it is.
