高考英语语法填空难题

请问语法填空为啥是asking而不是ask 。take sb some time to do and do 结构啊。 第二个空为什么不是had been living 叙述者是过去时态was dressed like 所以要had啊？第三个空为啥不是though?这位女士很穷（所以though)即便订单选项足够多了，她仍然觉得很难选择，太贵了，

2 但是现在完成时不是表示现在时描述吗。比如i love china.i have been linving in china since 1919。 假如i loved(过去表述） china.i had(改成过去式保持句式状态一致性） been linving in china since 1919
