Reading Books2007-06-29 16:52此为我们这里高一统考的一篇阅读，题目自加的，因为读的时候觉得大有感触，所以想手打下来，顺便培养下英语能力~（我果然是疯了~）

Reading Books

All the wisdom(智慧)of the ages,all the stories that have given people pleasure for centuries,can be easy and cheaply got by all of us within the covers of books.The most unluky people in the world are those who have never discovered how happy it is to read good books.

Reading is a pleasure of the mind,which means that it is a little like sports:your interest and knowledge and quickness make you a good reader.Reading is fun,not because the writer is telling you something,but because it makes your mind work.Your own imagination works along with the writer's or even goes beyond his.Your experince,compared with his,brings you the same or different feelings,and your ideas develop as you understand his.

Every book stands by itself,like a one-family house,but books in a library are like houses in a city.Although they can separate,together they all add up to something. They are connected with each other and with each cities.Books influence(影响)each other;they connect the past,the present and the future and have their own generations,like families.Wherever you start reading,you connect yourself with one of the families,and you not only find out about the word and the people in it;you find out about yourself,too. (读到这句的时候我太感慨了~差点拍桌子的说= =)

Reading can only be fun if you expect it to be.If you read books somebody tells you "you ought " to read,you probably won't have fun.But if you put down a book you don't like and try another till you find one that means something to you,and then relax with it,you will almost certainly have a good time---and if you become,as a result of reading,better,wiser,kinder,or more gentle,you won't suffer during the process(过程)

My hobby is reading book,i have many books,and every day i read book two hours,for example ,magazine, i think it is very interting.literature,i think it can help me with my daily life.i like writeing,so my writeing is very good,i want to be a writer when i grow up and i think read book is very useful!
