The man (hit) the door with his left foot.这里为什么不加S?如果说left是leave的过去式的话这句话也读不通吧？

最后一个。对于这句话It's very interesting 这里的话可以理解为very是副词，interesting是形容词吗？It’s very interest 可以理解为very是形容词 interest是名词吗？
