The Spring Festival is coming. It was seven o ’ clock in the morning. Four of my friends and I got together at the school gate and went to the nearest old people ’ s home called Wulin Old People ’ s Home to visit the old people there. It ’ s so near that we went there on foot. That is one of our winter vacation ’ s volunteer activities. Yesterday we went shopping to buy nice snacks like cakes and candies for the old people. When we got there, we sent our gifts to them first. They looked so happy. After that, we cleaned their rooms and washed their clothes. Also, to make them happier and more relaxed, we acted for them, singing and dancing. Later we had a talk with them and got them so excited all the time. It took us the whole morning to be with them.  As teenagers, we should learn to care about others and respecting old people is our duty. We felt tired when we left, but I think it ’ s a special day.     What a good day!
