My parents, together wiith me, (were) on (vocation ) in Switzerland. We (stayed) in a hotel near a lake and we (could) see the snowy mountain peaks (from) our room window. It (was) the first time I (came) to the mountains and I (loved) it. I also liked the hotel. But my father (wasn't) happy. He wasn't allowed to (smoke) in the hotel. We (had) (taken) lots of walks in the mountains. Yesterday we went for (a) boat trip (on) the lake, but we had to come back (early). Because it rained (so) heavily that we couldn't see the shore. It was (with lots of) fun but (perhaps) a bit frightening.
