Job Description
Buy fabricated component, respecting the overall agreed MFG's schedule and kit/machine budget. The material purchasing must be done according to the company's quality and costs policy.
-Analyze the BOM with the purpose of understanding the fabricated component to buy.
-Verify what is available into the warehouse.
-Know the available budget for each single work order.
-Negotiate the best price vs. the delivery keeping as objective the MFG's schedule.
-Buy according to the specification required in the drawings.
-Propose any potential cost reduction alternative to his/her supervisor.
-Follow up the delivery of parts bought to respect the MFG's schedule.
-Communicate to his/her internal customer if issues arise.
-Track the cost for each single work order.
-Propose any potential alternative to his/her supervisor with the objective to enlarge the number of suppliers.
-Participate with his supervisor to the definition of supplier quality award criteria.
-Propose to his/her supervisor a potential supplier suitable of quality certification award.
-Track the performance of each single supplier in terms of quality,costs and delivery.

People Qualification Criteria
-University education with the major of mechanics.
-At least 2 or 3 working purchase experience.
-Fluent English speaking and good English writing.
-Able to read and understand mechanical drawings.
-Good at excel, word, etc.
