most students only memorized what they need to know for exam rather than understand the concept. as a result, the student won't learn anything. they may forget what they learn right after the exam.
Also there is chance when student didn't performance well. And they don't have chance to rewrite the exam. Therefore the students may lost their chance to a better future.

in addition it helps students to know if they can be a manster in which area.
