would then smile 是谓语
somewhat expectantly at Ellen or me是状语,
as if awaiting a thank you 是带连词的现在分词短语 作方式状语

同学 这2句话 很基本,怎么分析呢 不就是主谓宾补状 ,连从句都基本没有
只有realize后面接了个宾语从句

你的问题在于单词不熟
或者是主谓宾这些不明白

冒号后面的就是等于一个破折号啊,就是解释说明。说明在中国那个task的内容呀
