Great change have taken place in the way of communication in people’s life.
In the past, people kept in touch with each other mainly by writing letters or using the public telephone. But now almost everyone has his own mobile phone. People can communicate with each other almost at any place and at any time. What’s more, people have easy access to the internet, with which they can send and receive e-mails whenever they like. It used to take several days to hear from each other, but now it takes only several minutes, even if they are in different countries.
In a word, people have an easier life nowadays with the development of communication.
The two day weekend Ever since the change of the two-day weekend, we college students have enjoyed it tremendously. For example, some students spend the time taking part in various social activities. Some go into middle schools to practise teaching. There’s no doubt that the two-day weekend gives us the opportunities for learning from real life as well as from textbooks.
But some students tend to idle away their time. At every weekend, they would go back home located in another city. Some haunt cinemas or go window-shopping and some just stay in bed daydreaming. In their eyes, weekend is only a time for relaxation.

As I learn more and grow up gradually, I change in many aspects. My teachers say I study harder and my parents say I am more sensible than before. As for me, I want to learn more in school and be a good boy to communicatio. Now, I am more focused on lessons and finish my homework actively. I know that only by working hard in study can I get a bright future. At home, I often help my mother in housework. I want to be more independent so that I can take good care of myself. I don’t want my parents worry too much about me. Besides, I like reading now. I realize books can be my friend, too. It is really interesting.
