Dear judges, teachers and friends. I’m Arthur from Class 5, Grade 9 in Bijie No.8 Middle School. Today, it’s my honor to be here with a beautiful dream. Now, I’ll tell you why I stand here to take part in this English competition.
I come from Bijie, which is a poor small town. And a lovely dream drove me here, that’s I want to tell you learning English is not just for mark, not just for going to a good university, not just for making money. It’s for building a bridge between you and me. As we know, China is developing very quickly, China is becoming more and more powerful, so that there are many people in other countries afraid of China and believing that China will be dangerous to their countries. Ladies and gentlemen, now we have responsibility to tell world that we are peace.
A lot of people think that we are more and more powerful and believe some day, China will go on an expedition to other countries. But I want to say, it’s impossible, it won’t happen. Since now, China has never sent our own soldiers to kill any people in this world. And no war is from China.
Many problems arrive because of misunderstanding, and most of them are from language. Nowadays, English becomes an international language. So today, we learn English well to help people understand each other. I believe, the more understanding, the less war.

And a lovely dream drove me here, that’s I want to tell you learning English 转折的太突然啊，应该找点什么和小镇联系，然后慢慢转过来，that’s I want to tell you learning English这里it's the following words .分一句，my english 比较口语话的我的英语（我所学的英语）加上下面的，不是为了什么。。。。

Ladies and gentlemen, now we have responsibility to tell world that we are peace. 这句中，前面加上But 后面呢 have 改成 are 另外world 改成all the world we are peace ,改成we love peace .

A lot of people think that we are more and more powerful and believe some day, China will go on an expedition to other countries.这句中这样写the public opinion that my country will carry out an expedition after being strong enough is cock-and-bull .把下面的去掉，然后加上个词just

I am Arthur from Class 5 of Grade 9 in Bijie No.8 Middle School. Today, it is my honor to share with you a beautiful dream of mine. Now, I will tell you the reason why I am standing here taking part in this English competition.

I come from Bijie, which is a small poor town but a lovely dream drove me here. I want to tell everybody here that learning English is not just for making a mark, not just for going to a good university and not just for earning good money.

It is for building a bridge between other countries and us. As we know, China is developing very rapidly; it is becoming increasingly more powerful politically and economically. This causes many people in other countries to be afraid of China and to believe that China will be a threat to their countries. Ladies and gentlemen, I feel we have responsibility to tell world that we are a peace loving country inhabits by a harmonious people.

A lot of people think that as we grow increasingly powerful and deem that some day; China will go on an expedition against other countries. However, I want to insist that it is impossible, and it will never happen. From the past till now, China has never sent our own soldiers to annihilate any race in this world. No war is started by China.

Many problems arise because of misunderstanding with most of them occurring from language barriers. Nowadays, English has become an international language. So, from this moment, we shall learn English well in order to help people to better understand each other. I believe, with more understanding, there will be lesser chances of war.
