请问定语从句等修饰主句的原因是?定语不是只修饰名词性质的词吗?举几个例好吗,如何分辨状语从句与它呢?

定语从句一般是跟在名词后面的, 大多由 that, which, who, those(多指人) 所引领.

例:

Is there anything that you want to explain?

The book which Mum bought me last week is called "My Family".

This is the man who stole my bike.

状语从句一般是就时间,空间(地点)或原因等状语而言, 大多由 when, where ,why 引领.

例:

I will never fet the day when I joined the League．

He will go back to the school where he studied next week．

I don't know the reason why he can do like this．
