因为home有时也当做副词用，这时就不用加介词 to了。
当然home被当做名词最多，但它还可作为形容词和副词，甚至是动词使用。举例如下。
1. 形容词
I don't have your home address。
the home team
The company has moved its home office。
2. 副词
What time did he get home last night?
3. 动词
A dozen geese home to their summer nesting grounds。
