until的用法：until有介词和连词两种词性，用作介词和连词时可以表示“到…时，直到…为止”的意思。until在用于肯定句时，句子中的谓语动词必须是延续性动词。当句子使用的是一般将来时态时，由until引导从句要用一般现在时。

常见句型

He put off his departure until his sister came.

他推迟行期，直到他妹妹来了之后才走。

I didn't wake up until I heard the alarm clock.

直到听到闹钟的铃声我才醒来。

You can't leave until your work is finished.

在你的工作完成之前，你不能离开。
