People think the public library will be replaced by the computer. To what extent do you agree of disagree?

answer:
In present-day society, it is recognized that information inquire play a key role in our daily life. But at the same time, controversy has arisen about whether the new technology which has been widespread used is outweighing the traditional way. Some people argue that computer can rapidly tackle problems more effectively and it should supplant the traditional way such as the public library. Speaking for myself, I believe their view is somewhat simplistic.

It is evident that using computers are efficiency. To use computers, surfing online, search the information that you wanted is more convenient. Furthermore, it is not only making the users less time-consuming and more economical but also broaden their horizons. Obviously, the can enjoy better fun. Above all, computers have the abundant resources to offer better information. Specifically, computers can remove the barrier for the communication via internet.

On the other hand, I admit that public library may help people study. Studying in public library would make the humanities feel the peaceful and clear environment. Clearly, that information inquires here is not monotonous and unmotivating any more. Even so, it is worth noting that the physical and psychological development often relax users’ bodies and ease their minds. As a result, the library has continued exert influence on people’s work and life.

To conclude, I would say that computers may have some advantages in dealing with problems when we need solve questions immediately. Therefore, I believe that public library contains rich cultural heritage for human beings, to promote the cultural communication and interaction. Consequently the public library would not be replaced by the high technology.
