To begin with, some advertised goods are worth buying, whereas others’ discrimination in the advertisements are overstated, and take in some people. Advertisements provide direct and detailed information for customers to buy the fittest products. If a product on the billboard is the right one that a consumer need, this individual might go purchasing and have a try on it. Despite this, however, it can be argued that the increasing competition in the business world oblige some companies to opt for fake advertisements to gain more revenues than their competitors. Such marketing style deceives those naive consumers, and the companies will eventually lose their market shares.

Conversely, advertising sometimes benefit our society. One aspect is that advertising helps stabilize the employment. As a giant industry in service trades, advertising companies employed a great many staff to operate every link. For illustration, the advertising company is composed by Creative Department, Account Servicing Department and Media Department. In the Creative Department, there are Executive Creative Director, Creative Director, Copywriter, Art Director, and their assistant. On the other hand, public service advertisements affect individuals on some social issues like public health issues, environmental protection and human rights.

Overall, advertisements impact audiences’ lives both positively and negatively. On this basis, authorities have the liabilities to monitor this trade by create strict laws. By this means, consumers will be able to enjoy the eye-catching ads.
