我在字典上查到 两个意思一样
请举两个例子说明

in face of和in the face of，in the face of主要有两种意思，一种是面对，当in the face of表示面对的时候，和in face of（面临）的意思相似。第二种意思是反对、不顾，这时候意思就差很多了。
1、in face of 英[in feis ɔv] 美[ɪn fes ʌv]

[例句]Eg: You shouldn't speak of his ex-wife in face of him.
你不应该当着他的面提起他的前妻。
2、in the face of 英[in ðə feis ɔv] 美[ɪn ði fes ʌv]
①面对;
[例句]Little companies are known for their pluck and perseverance, even in the face of arecession.

②反对；不顾
