A Speech on Chinese Spring Festival Celebration Ceremony
Ladies and Gentlemen，
The Chinese traditional new year is just right on the corner，today we gather here to celebrate this festival. I am very honored and delighted to extend my sincere greetings to all of you and wish everyone good health and happiness.
Last year saw great changes and advances on ourselves as well as in the world. It was the first time that I’d stepped out of the campus and been in contact of the society, it was the first time that I’d stepped in Grand Metro Park Jiayou and learned how to be a qualified trainee. My dream of working in a grand hotel has come ture. And the coming year 2008 is definetely going to be a fantastic year as we all know the 29th Olympics will be held in Beijing, which provides opportunities as well as chanllenges for us. Dream of all Chinese people has come ture.
As one of the best and most luxurious hotels in Shanghai, Grand Metro Park Jiayou adheres to the principle “dedicating the best hospitality services for all guests; offering optimum values and returns for hotel owners; providing career enhancement and development for employees; and contributing professional services to hotelsmer” and has made great progress. A large number of people will burst into Shanghai this year, and providing them with good accommodation is where our dream lies. Offering our guests rest and relaxation within a flourishing metropolitan city, I think this is what “Metro Park” means and is meant to be.
Right here on this occasion I want to say thank-you to all of you present for great opportunities and lessons provided.The over-one-month intership teaches us a lot that we would never learn in books. We have learned various skills in reception, we have learned how to communicate with our customers, we have learned to boost exchanges and cooperation with staffs, and we have also been actively engaged in hotel management in certain fields. Probably we will not continue to work in this hotel after graduation but we are going to spare no efforts and enthusiasm to dedicate and I believe skillful experiences will make difference on us when we leave and equipped with them we have no fear in pursuing our dreams.
The new year is a time of new beginnings and new hopes for the future. I hope that every one of you find yourself more prosperous and more content with each passing day this year. I hope that Grand Metro Park Jiayou will truly be the Paradise of the Metropolis. I know that this day will be afantastic celebration of the good friendship and good spirits that can last not only a year, but a life time.
